Step
One:
If you've uploaded your MP3 file onto your website, enter
the URL of it into the "URL to MP3 file" text box.
If it is in the same folder as Sound Streamer, you can simply
just type the name of the file.
If you'd
like to hide the actual location of your MP3 file in your
webpages source, tick the Cloak MP3 URL tickbox.
If you'd
like the MP3 to start playing as soon as the page loads, tick
the Start Playing When Page Loads tickbox.
You can
also use what's called Branded Text. Have a look at the Step
3 Preview. You'll see, by default, "Make your sites talk
today!" written underneath the player. You can change
this text to anything you like, and link it to a webpage by
entering the details into the Branded Text section.
Step
Two:
If you'd like to change the colour of the box from the default
Silver colour, tick the Use Custom Colour box.
You
can now use the sliders to mix the colours you'd like to use.
Experiment with the sliders to change the colour.
If you
have a particular colour in mind, at the end of the sliders
you will see the value of Red, Green and Blue. The numbers
represent the RGB value. If you know the RGB value of the
colour you want, you can simply move the sliders until the
numbers match the correct values.
Step
3:
This allows you to preview the player. Try playing the sound,
and also check your Branded Text if you've added it (refer
to Step 1 to change this). If you're happy with this, continue
to Step 4.
Step
4:
Click on the Generate Code button.
The code
you need is displayed in the large box. Select all the text
in the box and paste it into your webpage that you would like
the Sound Streamer player to be shown. Where ever you paste
the code, this is where the player will be displayed.
